During the August 2025 gathering in Waupaca, Mike Lurie spent time at the Waupaca Historical Society looking through the master books of the Waupaca County Post. The goal was to find any mention of Camp Waupaca, and this visit did not disappoint! He set his expectations low and was very excited when he found this article about the building of the "New Beach" from July 24, 1952. We will continue to visit the Waupaca Historical Society every chance we get, look through the books, and hopefully find more historical tidbits about Camp Waupaca For Boys!
