Another off-year get together, and there was no shortage of quality time spent at Camp Waupaca! A motley crew assembled in Chicago for the drive to Waupaca. And this is the last time we see the old Rec Hall, as it is to be demolished and a new multi-purpose building built in its' place. We also crashed a Wanty family reunion - it was great to see everyone together!

What we did . . .
We still hadn't embraced the idea of having a detailed itinerary yet. This was supposed to be just our normal annual trip to Waupaca, but we had a surprise: the Wanty family was celebrating the engagement of Matt Wanty, who will marry the next year. We were welcomed warmly by the entire Wanty family at Danny Wanty's home.

Reunion Wrap-Up (Time Capsule) . . .
One of the time-honored traditions of Camp Waupaca, especially in the Trail's End yearbook, was to write a time capsule after each season.
