Off-Year Reunion 2024

WOW!! We had no idea that 15 alumni and 8 guests would be attending an off-year reunion at camp! But that is exactly what happened on Saturday August 24th. This reunion started in the Dells with Mike Lurie and Paul Warshauer enjoying an "Early Bird"-like get together. They rode the Original Wisconsin Ducks, ate fudge, dined at Ishnala, and took some old tyme photos. Then it was off to Waupaca to join the rest of the group. And there was a mystery Camp Waupaca artifact found by a good citizen in Waupaca that was retrieved!

We always put together a full and detailed itinerary for our reunions, including activities for the "advance team" who arrive days early to prepare for the reunion. As the itinerary can often change at the whim of the group, we always qualify the itinerary with: "subject to major or minor change, with or without notice"! CLICK HERE to see the itinerary.

One of the time-honored traditions of Camp Waupaca, especially in the Trail's End yearbook, was to write a time capsule after each season.  In a few short paragraphs, the essence of the season gone by is recaptured in summary fashion.  We continue this tradition with each reunion. CLICK HERE to view the time capsule for the 2024 reunion. This one has more names mentioned than any other Time Capsule! All names will be in BOLD font, so they are easy to find.

Here's who attended this year's event:
